Tedder-Grillo vows spoken

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew James Grillo Mr. and Mrs. Andrew James Grillo Kelley Jordan Tedder and Andrew James Grillo were united in marriage by Rev. William I. Smith during an Oct. 21, 2006, ceremony held at the Marriott Resort overlooking the scenic Grand Lagoon during the beautiful sunset at Bay Point, Fla.

Kelley, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tony S. Bruner and Marion Joseph Tedder, is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Still and Mr. and Mrs. Reese Tedder, all of Blakely.

Andrew, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Grillo of South Weymouth, Mass., is the grandson of Erwin Nelson of Peabody, Mass., and the late Annabella Nelson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Grillo.

The bride was presented by her father and then escorted to the altar by her stepfather. She wore a strapless sweetheart neckline, dropped waist A-line gown of ivory silk charmeuse with an English netting overlay and a chapel length train by Melissa Sweet. Her fingertip veil, which the bride designed, was handmade in England. It was also made of ivory English netting, scattered with beautiful pearls and crystals. A pearl necklace that was a wedding gift from the groom, adorned the bride's neck. Her bridal bouquet contained calla lilies, roses, mums, snapdragons and glads in shades of orange, yellow, purple and green. Handkerchiefs given by the bride's maternal grandmother and the groom's mother were special sentimental tokens of the day.

Attendants were the matron of honor, Melanie Enfinger McGougin, the bride's friend of Brewton, Ala.; and best man, John Thompson, the groom's friend of Atlanta. Ushers were Grant Bruner, the bride's brother, of Blakely; and Scott Grillo, the groom's brother, of New York City.

Wedding music was performed by bagpiper Geordie Ord of Mexico Beach, Fla., and a scriptural reading was given by Grant Bruner, the bride's brother. Memorial candles were lit overlooking the bay's emerald waters to honor and remember loved ones.

Highlights of the weekend's celebration included a post-rehearsal cocktail party and buffet hosted by the groom's parents at the Kingfish Restaurant and a wedding reception held by the bride's parents at the Marriott's outdoor, waterside pavilion. Entertainment was provided by Bell and Lane Acoustic Duo of Blakely.

The wedding was directed by Ashley Collier of Blakely.

Following a honeymoon to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, the newlyweds are residing in Roswell.
