Students head to Anaheim

This year the International Student Media Festival will be in Anaheim, Calif., Oct. 24 through 26 at the Orange County Hyatt Regency.

The Early County Probe classes have nine students from grades one through 12 working hard to attend the awards ceremony, where they will be recognized with students from around the world for their accomplishments in producing winning computer programs.

The International Student Media Festival is sponsored by the AECT to promote excellence in media production. Each year the festival attracts the very best of studentproduced media from around the world.

Winners are recognized at the festival awards ceremony as part of the annual conference for the Association for Educational Communica-tions and Technology.

The winning programs are Dear Mr. Ferry (PowerPoint Presentation) by Eric Holley and Ansley Smith; Pompons or Cleats, Who's the Real Athlete? (Live Action Video) by Mackenzie Anderson, Trip McDonald, Jake Sealy, Shanna Suggs and Lexy Welch; It's Time to Draw the Line (PowerPoint Presentation) by Linsdey Smith; Close-Ups (Power Point Presentation) by Dean Waller; Texture (Photograph) by Tripp Waller; and Buckeye's Kennel (Website) by Tripp Waller.
