Zoooom... the Peanut Proud Poker Run

Winners from left: B.J. Josey, Dwight Spurlock and Denise Revells Winners from left: B.J. Josey, Dwight Spurlock and Denise Revells The Peanut Proud Poker Run kicked activities off again this year March 2 when 19 motorcycles and one car roared off for the 2019 Poker Run.

The die-hard Peanut Proud cyclists zoomed off on a dreary, overcast morning to the draw locations with cheery attitudes. Their stops began at Cotton Hall near the iconic ICON mural in Colquitt. The route took them to The Hub in Arlington, K.J.’s Grilling in Ft. Gaines, White Oak Pastures General Store in Bluffton, Kolomoki Mounds State Park and back to The Fourth Out.

Door prizes were given away while judge Bruce Andrews determined the winners. B.J. Josey of Colquitt was the winner of the best hand ($150). Dwight Spurlock of Arlington was winner of the second best hand ($75) and Ron Drew of Blakely was the winner of the worst hand ($25). Denise Revells of Blakely won a 50/50 pot of $77.

We thank our participants, door prize donors and our sponsor, Damascus Peanut Company.
