Sara Tedder

“Miss Sara” Williams Tedder, 90, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019, at the home of her daughter, Lynda Howard.

“Miss Sara” was born April 8, 1928, in Colquitt, Ga., to the late Idus Monroe Williams and Clara Jane Williams. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Blakely and was the owner of Kiddie Korner Day Care for 38 years.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ouida Williams and Louise Tucker; two brothers, Lintry Williams and Vernon Williams; son-in-law: Mickey Howard; and a granddaughter, Alexandra “Alex” Leighann Tedder.

Survivors include two daughters, Lynda Tedder Howard of Blakely, Ga., and Ginger Tedder McNab and Dale of Glendale, Ariz.; two sons, Nickey Tedder and Sandra, and Teddy Tedder and Teresa, all of Blakely; 10 grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren.

The funeral service will be Friday, March 15, 2019, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Manry- Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home with Bobby Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Blakely Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Nick Tedder, B.B. Tedder, Cole Ducati, Luke Ashley and Dylan Clenney. The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 2 p.m.

Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
