Weekly Devotional

Hopefully every Christian prays daily, not only for their needs but also for others. But when you pray, don’t leave yourself out of those prayers. We all love and need to be encouraged. But most of the time the only one around to encourage you — is you.

Because we need to encourage ourselves, we must be very familiar with God’s promises and what is required for those promises to manifest in our lives. It’s not enough to just call yourself a Christian. When we were born again, we were born into a war between good and evil, light and darkness and there is no retreat — no vacation.

Ezekiel 22:30 says, “God looked for someone among them..who would stand in the gap before Him for the land, that He should not allow it to be destroyed, but He found no one.” God through Ezekiel asked a very important question. Can I (God) find people that will stand before Me and pray believing? Are you that person or do we cast the future of all that matters to us in the wind?

Let’s be like Isaiah in Chapter 6:8. “I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send? Who will go for me? Then said I “ Here I am Lord send me.”

Question arises, If we are all God has, is He in trouble?
